Micotil^® (tilmicosin injection) Safe Handling and Use

SAFE Logo Since its approval, Micotil® (tilmicosin injection) has been used safely and effectively by thousands of producers and veterinarians to treat over 50 million cattle. When using injectable products, be sure to always consult with your veterinarian and follow the basic safety guidelines listed below:

Utilize proper animal restraint
Be cautious of other animals in the immediate working area
Always handle loaded syringes with care
Never work animals alone
Always use products according to label directions

In the event of a human exposure to Micotil, take the following actions:

Seek immediate medical attention.
Apply ice or cold pack to injection site while avoiding direct contact with skin.
Take label with you for information purposes.
