Controls nuisance fly larvae
Neporex 2 SG is a larvicide based on cyromazine and developed for the control of fly larvae in manure and other breeding sites. Neporex 2 SG acts as a growth regulator by affecting the molting process of nuisance fly larvae and preventing normal pupation. The elimination of the adult fly population occurs gradually and becomes visible one to two weeks after application.
Full Value Poultry™, reduced disease risk among benefits of fly control
The housefly (Musca domestica), lesser housefly (Fannia canicularis) and the stable fly (Stomoxys calcitrans) are a few of the species of nuisance fly whose larvae can be controlled by Neporex 2 SG. The presence of manure and the adaptability of flies mean these insects will never be fully eliminated. Nonetheless, stringent efforts at fly control can yield many benefits, including:
- Contribution to Full Value Poultry
- Improved productivity
- Reduced risk of fly-borne parasite infection, oocysts transmitting coccidiosis and diseases1
